Long time coming!

I am back...!! Since my last update, the charity work and fundraising has been crawling along at a sedate pace, which has frustrated me at times. However, the time has come to press on and get this show on the road and step things up a gear. So, without further ado, I am excited to announce that I shall be tackling Kilimanjaro towards the latter part of 2010. More information about that later, but for now, please humour me as I try and give you a lowdown of the charity work done since the London Marathon in 2007.

Dragon Boat Race -2008

After a successful fundraising mission with the London Marathon, I decided to take time to do something a little out of the ordinary. I got together with my colleagues and created a crew to race a Dragon Boat. The event was great, however, our success on the water was not as great as our ability to raise money. Unfortunately, we only managed to secure a place in the bottom quarter of the leader table, however, we had fun and raised £1,003 for our troubles. All proceeds of the event went to Weston Park Cancer Hospital. See the merry crew above.
